I’ve watched My Octopus Teacher three times and will watch it again. It is an amazing piece of art, both visually and in the story. As Tim Denning points out, great storytelling like this film can change the world and if you do it right, people won’t even notice the change.

For me, the story about a man and an octopus was about connection. As much as we humans try to detach ourselves from the natural world, we remain connected to it. When we embrace that connection, our lives become richer and we see what we never noticed before.
